Christmas Choir Competition 2009

Congratulations to Lower Queens School, Chester

Primary schools across Cheshire were invited by local charity The NeuroMuscular Centre to enter their fabulous new choir competition.

The winning choir, which was announced as Lower Queens School in Chester, will perform at The Spirit of Christmas event at Chester Cathedral on Friday 4th December in front of an audience of around 800, including Matthew Kelly and his celebrity friends.

Dawsons Music are kindly sponsoring the event, and also giving an additional prize to the winning choir of a Digital Piano.*

The 5 runners up each recieved a trophy for their school trophy cabinet.

 

The Neuromuscular Centre

The NeuroMuscular Centre (NMC) is a unique charity offering a range of services to people with muscular dystrophy and allied neuromuscular conditions in the NorthWest of England.

Since opening its doors in 1990 the NMC has worked with hundreds of people affected by muscular dystrophy and by offering a combination of services has helped to improve their quality of life.

The Centre offers training, supported employment, physiotherapy, hydrotherapy and an ever increasing support network.
