Terms and Conditions
Chester’s Dee 106.3 Competition Rules;
These competition rules shall be binding on you when entering any competition(s) operated by us, our sponsors or any company or website owned or controlled by us.

In addition to these general competition rules, other specific terms and conditions may also apply to a particular competition which will be announced on air.

1. You must be a resident in the UK to enter our competitions.
2. Employees of Chester’s Dee 106.3 are not eligible to enter the competition.
3. Anyone who has won a prize within the last 30 days on Chester’s Dee 106.3 shall not be eligible to enter the competition, nor shall any member of such person's family nor members of the same household (including, but not limited to, aunts, uncles, cousins, grandparents etc).
4. Only one entry per person is permitted, unless otherwise stated. Automated entries will be invalidated, including multiple entries from the same IP or telephone number range.
5. For competitions entered via text message; you must start with the keyword Dee followed by a space and then your message and send to 87474 (texts will be charged at 25p plus your standard network rates).
6. Proof of making phone call, sending text, post/e-mail is not proof of our receipt of your entry. No responsibility can be accepted for entries that are lost, delayed or damaged.
7. The closing date is as specified on air in the relevant competition.
8. In the case of a prize draw, the first correct entry drawn will be the winner.
9. Winners will be notified by phone or email within 21 days of the closing date. 
10. Ticket holders shall be bound by the event promoter's terms and conditions together with those set out on the ticket and the rules and regulations of the venue.
11. The winner will normally be required to pick up their prize from the radio station unless otherwise told.
12. Any prize which is left unclaimed after 28 days of being notified will be forfeited.
13. The judge's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
14. The prize may not be transferred to any other person.
15. No cash alternative or alternative prize is available on entrants' request but in the event of the advertised competition prize being unavailable we reserve the right to offer an alternative prize.
16. Chester’s Dee 106.3 will not be liable for any damage, loss or disappointment suffered by any person taking part or not being able to take part in a competition.
17. Competition winners may be required to take part in or co-operate with publicity.
18. Competition winners agree to keep confidential any knowledge about Chester’s Dee 106.3 and its business and personnel received by them as a result of the competition.
19. No responsibility is accepted for inaccurate prize details supplied by sponsors.
20. Use of false name or address, eg name by which the entrant is not usually known, will disqualify them from receiving any prize. Chester’s Dee 106.3 reserves the right to oblige any potential winner to provide documentary proof of their identity and address as directed by Chester’s Dee 106.3 before such person may claim their prize. In certain circumstances, Chester’s Dee 106.3  shall, at its discretion, require any person to present themselves in person supported by such documentation for identification.
21. Contestants who are rude, abusive or deemed otherwise unsuitable by Chester’s Dee 106.3 will be excluded from the competition.
22. We reserve the right to amend these rules at any time. Entry in the competition implies acceptance of these rules.
23. We will keep your personal details for a reasonable time so that we can send you any prize that you have won, to verify that these rules have been complied with, and for accounting purposes. We may pass your details on to our service providers and agents for the purposes of sending you the prize on our behalf.
24. Chester’s Dee 106.3 may at any time issue specific rules to be read in conjunction with these rules. In the event of a conflict between two sets of rules, the competition-specific rules take priority.
25. These rules are governed by English law.

Terms and Conditions – How Plump Is Our Bird Promotion

The following specific Terms and Conditions shall apply to the promotion known as How Plump Is Our Bird and should be read in conjunction with any general terms and conditions published for contests/competitions from time to time.

The specific terms and conditions for this promotion are :

* Starting date 8am Monday 6th December to Friday 17th December 2010
* Each day on the breakfast show after 8am we’ll announce where our huge 6 foot turkey will be. Listeners are invited to pop along and guess the weight of the 6 foot turkey. The turkey will be at the daily location for 1 hour per day – the locations will change.

*The prize is a fresh family turkey and hamper provided by TTS Meats – in time for Christmas. The winner will be announced on Friday 17th December at 5pm.

* There is only one entry permitted per person throughout the promotion. No alternative prizes will be offered.

* No correspondence will be entered into.

Any employee of Dee 106.3 Limited or any sponsor, their immediate family or any other person who is directly connected with the promotion are ineligible to participate.

All participants in any competition on Chester’s Dee 106.3 will be deemed to have understood these rules, and to be bound by them. All participants in the competition shall accept and enter into the competition subject to these terms and conditions
